Thoughts for Wednesday 4/19

Levels and Setup.

Hello traders, Apologies for late post. Here is snapshot of what we did today.

Going into globex we had long setup against 4170/72.

It printed 20+ points for those who were able to take advantage and trade in different time zones. Moving to RTH open we longed 4188 and then shorted 4186 on drop below 4188 that produced 20+ points again. We stayed short against 4172 which gave couple points and then we decided to move side line most of the day until 3 pm and tried one last short on drop that did not work.

Today’s session saw similar 10 point chop that we have been seeing last few days and my job is to keep people trade less during chop. I did define 4182 to 4172 as chop area in afternoon and let people decide if they want to trade edges by shorting upper end and longing lower end and some folks took advantage of it but as per my rules room stayed out for such range.
